Hawaii – My honeymoon

 

Today I’m going to talk about Hawaii, my honeymoon location. I went to Hawaii in September, 2009 on my honeymoon. We went via of Japan so we could visit Tokyo for 3 hours. Then it took 8 hours from Tokyo to Hawaii by flight.

 

Hawaii is not a country but it’s similar to a country from a tourist’s point of view. Hawaii consists of 8 main islands. Among them we visited only 1 island ‘Oahu’, which is capital city Honolulu and the most famous beach Waikiki. We stayed in the hotel nearby Waikiki beach for 7 days.

 

In Waikiki we saw many tourists from around the world. Most people were wearing swimsuits and bikinis in the beach, park, street and even in the supermarket. It was very interesting. In the evening we saw the spectacular sunset. It etched in my memory.

 

Moreover I could enjoy not only swimming, surfing and snorkeling but also shopping because there are many outlet malls in the downtown of Honolulu. And fruit was amazing. At that time I had never tasted the fruits, mango, guava and papaya. I really relished it. I like this city because it is not only a place like BalLi and Sebu but also a perfect urban city with beautiful nature.

 

I visited only Oahu Island for 7 days, it wasn’t enough. So I decided that I’ll visit all the islands of Hawaii. It’s the happiest expectation in my life.
