Good wife

 

Today, I’d like to introduce an American drama named ‘Good wife’. This is a CBS drama series and now season 4 is going on. Main actors are Julianna Margulies, Josh Charles, Chris Noth, Matt Czuchry and Archie Panjabi. It is a legal drama that is connected to politics, economics, social crimes and family problems of USA.

 

It starts from the press interview of the Illinois state attorney who has sex scandals with a sex worker. He is arrested and does to jail. His wife left with the 2 teenage children becomes the head of the family, restarts work in a major law firm after 15 years’ absence.

 

At first, she was an introvert and felt strange to the new life. In addition, she was stressed because most of people in the city knew her existence and gossiped about her and her husband. But as she adapted to the office and court life, she displays her passion and ability about law and relationships. In reverse, her husband (ex-state attorney) in jail finds her attractive and realizes that he still loves her.

 

Beyond these stories, there are so many episodes for example the education of children, mother-in-law problem, another triangle romance etc. I recommend it because of her amazing development from a good wife to perfect wife.
